Hello! Welcome to Sheepish!
It's almost 2009, how did that happen!
After a quiet start, 2008 turned into one of our best years ever... the larger, expanded three day Woolstock was a massive success, Friday Flock came back and was even more popular than in the Phono days (with some impressively attended pre-gigs!), whilst Black Sheep itself has become consistently much busier - week in and week out - than it's been for years!
We're hoping 2009 is going to be just as good, and here's a reminder of all the stuff we do...
Black Sheep is our weekly goth/industrial night. It's free entry, the DJs are very request-friendly, we have a guest DJ every week and it's 7pm-11pm every Sunday night at the Subculture!
Friday Flock is our much larger monthly night, playing goth, industrial, 80s, new wave, punk and Phono-style dark alternative. (Friday Flock used to run at a notorious Leeds club named the Phono, and the DJs used to be residents at Oblivion and the Sunday Club.) Flock is on the first Friday of every month at the Subculture and has it's own webpage here.
Finally we also run gigs (lots of gigs!) featuring goth and industrial bands. Incoming gigs feature Cybercide (6th February), Rhombus (6th March) and Zeitgeist Zero (3rd April). All these gigs are early doors before Friday Flock, and information on all forthcoming live events can be found in the Live section.
More information can be found on our Facebook Group, MySpace or here in the Forums. You can also join our Mailing List!
